Georgia Towing Laws
- Signage Requirements
- Signs must be at least 6x8 inches, posted at each designated entrance. Must include 'Tow-Away Zone' and the tow company phone number.
- Private Property Rules
- Property owner must authorize the tow and must have a written agreement with the tow company. Tow company must notify local law enforcement within 1 hour.
- Right to Retrieve
- VERIFY: Owner can retrieve the vehicle before it leaves the property. Georgia law allows a 'reasonable' drop fee if the vehicle is already attached.
